Pilot Social Safety Net (SSN) Pilot Social Safety Net (SSN) Project is developed for the IRAQ Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs (MOLSA), under contract with Bearing Point. The project aims to support new Iraqi SSN benefits regulations and enhance distribution of welfare benefits noting that the scope of distribution is Baghdad area with an estimated 250,000 families. The project is a multi lingual user interface that supports Arabic and English Language with the ability to accommodate for Kurdish Language in the future. The project is designed to be scalable in order to expand in the future to other MOLSA sites around the country as well as extensible and configurable in order to accommodate new functionality and legislation changes.     Qatar Courts Modernization Program (QCMP) Portal This portal is based on Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0 which was customized and implemented by Primus to provide BearingPoint QCMP Project Team with a robust but yet easy to use document management solution. The result was instant productivity and collaboration among project team in a very stable, efficient, and easy to use environment. The portal was customized to use form-based authentication to allow partners and users outside the BearingPoint active directory domain to access the portal but yet have security measures in place.   Qatar Courts e-Filing System This system is the Attorney’s gateway to electronically filing cases in addition to submitting forms and documents to the Court. Each Attorney or designee with secured access will be able to submit forms, documents, and initiate a case in the e-Filing system to be submitted to the Court Management System. The system will provide the following functions: This process (and website) is used repeatedly for entering Iraq, exiting Iraq or traveling within Iraq which is called mission within Iraq. Electronic storage and submission of E-Filing data Store and submit electronic scanned images of documentation Store & submit case request information Multi-lingual Support (English/Arabic) Submit/Review/Approve workflow mechanism to manage the flow of information from the e-Filing system into the Court Management System. Top   Iraqi Customs Levy System (ICLS): Under subcontract to BearingPoint, Inc., as part of their USAID-funded Iraq Economic Recovery, Reform and Sustained Growth Project, PRIMUS provided assistance in developing the Iraqi Customs Levy System (ICLS), which is a complete solution that facilitates the process of levy collection across the Iraqi borderline customhouses. The solution provides means for custom declaration data collection, levy computation, manual cash reconciliation at the posts, and data exportation and importations between the posts and the headquarters in Baghdad. All processes facilitated by the application are endowed by variant access privileges which are fully customizable in the system control panel, among with other configuration options.     The Corporate Tax Registration Module (CTRM) - Iraq Income Tax Department The Corporate Tax Registration Module (CTRM) was proposed because the Iraq Tax Commission (ITC) currently does not have a computerized system to register corporate taxpayers. The technical goal for the CTRM project is to develop an interim electronic taxpayer registration module that will facilitate the registration of corporate taxpayers in the ITC. The CTRM project has the following objectives: Primary objective: Train the Iraqi Development Team, at the ITC, who have dated programming experience, on the current design and development tools. Secondary objective: Create a module that will be the prototype for subsequent applications developed within the ITC. Top   United Nations - Iraq Security Clearance Web System (Scripts Iraq): This website was developed for any UN employee who wishes to travel to Iraq. First the traveler should apply for a security clearance at the UN. The system specifies which official should approve or disapprove this request depending on the destination of the travel and generates email to that official. The system also generates emails to other officials who should give their recommendations and technical opinion on this travel. Then the approving official using the web site submits his decision. An email is sent back to the traveler with that decision. When the traveler finishes the travel he/she enters the website to confirm the travel. Systems Installation Project - Iraq PRIMUS has also collaborated with Bearing Point on performing the installation of equipments, systems and networks in the six Iraqi border posts, which are Um Qasr, Ibrahim Al Khalil, Rabe’a, Al Qae’m, Al Walid, and Trebil. Through its PC Doctor division, PRIMUS’ team consisted of technical staff, which was responsible for the installation, in addition to the project manager who accompanied the team, set the schedules and made sure that the work is completely done under the difficult circumstances of the country.    Comprehensive Integrated Tariff System (CITS) – Jordanian Customs Department: It is the single and most current information source for tariff and non-tariff measures to be applied by the Jordan Customs Department and other government agencies based on public information regulations to goods entering, exiting or transiting Jordan. The CITS will be developed so that the user starts from a single point and is led to all tariff and non-tariff measures for every item once the proper tariff classification is determined. Critical elements of the project will be defining the data standards for tariff and non-tariff measures, identifying regulation sources within Customs, stock-taking of all other government agency regulations for goods crossing the borders, “translating” these often vague (and suspected repetitious) regulations into numeric tariff classifications, populating a database built for this specific purpose and validating the content provided by other government agencies.  Ministry of Planning - Foreign Aid and Investment Projects Information System (FAIPIS) This intranet system is designed to keep track of all projects managed by the Aid Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Planning (MOP). The unit is basically responsible for projects funded by donations made for the country by the donating countries, including USAID, UNDP, GTZ, JAICA and other parties. The system was designed to allow for extensive and advanced reporting, and prepared for OLAP in following phases. The system is built using web technologies, and based on SQL server 2000. Food Import Management Information System (FIMIS) – for the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA)  In the light of the need for an automated system to document, process and manage information related to food import products, FIMIS was delivered. FIMIS is an intranet based archival system with OLAP services to enhance decision making process in the Food Control Division. FIMIS for short, was built to meet the following prerequisites: Establishing a database for accurate, reliable & easy accessed data related to the quality, safety & quantity of imported foods. Provisioning of information that can be utilized in maintaining an effective & efficient food control system. Supplying of warning information related to non-compliant products, hence, optimizing the prevention of unacceptable consumer risk. Providing of information useful in coordinating efforts to improve overall quality of imported foods. Supplying of a day-to-day food import related data. The System was developed using 3-tier architecture (Presentation Services, Business Logic Services and Data Services) and used the following technologies: ASP, COM+, Visual Basic 6.0, HTML, JavaScript, VB Script, SQL Server2000, and MS OLAP Services. Top State University of New York (SUNY) – Discipline-area Experts Database - (Intranet): This application is the first year's activities of the State University of New York/Jordan. It is designed and developed for an implementation of a database of discipline-area experts and of civil society organizations (CSOs). This application will aim to survey, list by policy area, and computerize the ample local (Jordanian in particular, Middle East region generally) talent with expertise in the various subject matter and topics before the Parliament – experts who may be willing to testify before Parliamentary committees, author white papers, and assist with research, thereby supplementing the internal capacity of Parliament; and civil society organizations who will be advocating to Parliament on behalf of their issues and policies.  Her Majesty Queen Noor website (www.noor.gov.jo): PRIMUS was responsible for the design and development of Her Majesty’s Queen Noor new website. The website lists all projects and activities that Her Majesty has taken part in throughout the years, the visitor can also search a database for the complete list of Her Majesty’s speeches listed by category. The website also contains a photo gallery showing glimpses of Her Majesty’s life and activities over the years.    Jordan Economic and Commerce Bureau (www.jordanecb.jo): A rich dynamic and very informative website has been design and developed for Jordan's Economic & Commerce Bureau – the Embassy of Jordan, Washington D.C. ECB aims at "building Jordan’s economic and commercial presence in the U.S." and this website includes comprehensive information that serves this aim. It covers Jordan's development, reform, investment and trade aspects including all trade agreements with other countries, industry & trade laws, as well as investment projects and opportunities. In addition, with a directory similar to Google, the website enables easy search for all Jordanian entities providing services and products to the international market. Successful stories can be found presenting the Jordanian companies' experience in the U.S. Furthermore, the website acts as a community for Jordanians who need to promote their projects and organizations in the U.S., as it includes these organizations' events, news and contacts. Thus, the advanced dynamic features developed by Primus, assist ECB in creating linkages between the Jordanian and U.S organizations, enhancing the economic and commercial Jordanian presence in the U.S and hence contribute in promoting Jordan!
